About me

Hello! Thanks for visiting my web site.

I’m an award winning writer and theatre maker from London. My work explores love and injustice through intimate human relationships as well as big global stories. I like to make inclusive, accessible work, and call for change by exposing broken systems with stories with heart.

My work has explored subjects such as intergenerational solidarity, LGBTQIA+ rights, global causality, the impact of austerity on our capacity for love, the power of creative expression in the face of oppression, rage and vulvas.

I'm a Judges Award Bruntwood Prize winner and have been shortlisted for the WiT Award and Theatre503's Playwriting Award. My writing has been presented to audiences at the Hampstead Theatre, Theatre503, MK Gallery, National Theatre, Southbank Centre, and VAULT Festival. Recent/current commissions include Tapestry (Play's the Thing), Who Cares? (Hydrocracker and Royal & Derngate) and Eclipse (Sphinx Theatre).

As well as writing, I lead feminist punk inclusive collective Where’s my Vagina? with co-collaborators Jenny Sealey and Jess Mabel Jones. I also support other writers to develop their work for stage - as a dramaturg, facilitator and script consultant. My work in this area is informed by a decade working for new writing theatres and companies, such as Graeae and the Royal Court.
